Kelly Picune
“I feel like I’m not good enough.”
“I don’t know how to deal with experiences from my childhood.”
“I am unhappy in my relationship.”
“I am easily overwhelmed and I can’t get anything done.”
If this resonates with you, I’m here to help. It is normal to struggle with emotions or experiences in life, but they don’t have to define you.
I can help you build the necessary tools and skills to work through the challenges you are facing. I work with children, teens, and adults to work though trauma, self-esteem difficulties, and enhance emotional regulation.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, however I work to create a safe space where you are comfortable. I prioritize cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. I believe in honoring each individual's unique experiences and culture while empowering clients to take an active role in their healing.
I use an integrative approach that incorporates aspects from different theoretical perspectives such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Together we can build healthy coping skills, grow self-worth, and overcome past traumas. If any of this resonates with you, call or email me and we can chat about how I can best help you.
