I have worked with people of all backgrounds but I generally work with women and the LGBT community. I work with clients on self-esteem, body positivity, anxiety management, trauma symptoms, and relational issues. As a human and a provider, I am feminist, anti-racist, fat positive, sex positive, pro-science, pro-vaccine, and pro-LGBT. My approach is varied depending on the individual's history with treatment. For people new to therapy, it may be helpful to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT involves looking at thoughts patterns and behaviors that may be creating obstacles in your life and setting up appropriate coping skills to address those issues. For people who come to therapy for the purpose of processing trauma, a trauma-informed, relational approach is necessary. For people who are looking to gain understanding about how their past intersects with their present behaviors, insight oriented therapy would be the best approach. I am not a "Listen and Nod" therapist. I will actively listen, provide you with feedback and analysis, and be open with you about your diagnosis, prognosis, and any treatments indicated. With full transparency, I say that I am not a validation-only therapist. Some folks want a therapist who will listen and validate without providing feedback or analysis. That is not my style. I will, however, work with you to figure out exactly how you can benefit from therapy.
Do you have unresolved issues with yourself, in your relationship, or within your family? You are not alone, and you do not need to suffer. I will help you heal old wounds, form secure attachments, and develop effective ways of managing your thoughts, feelings, and actions. My promise to you is that I will listen—really listen—to understand your unique background, identity and needs, and employ established therapeutic approaches to help you flourish in the life you want to lead.

Hello! Throughout my ten years in the mental health field, I have worked in settings that range from inpatient to outpatient, as well as school and mobile. My clients represent all stages across the lifespan. My passion is helping clients to address a variety of needs, many of which stem from prior traumatic or dysfunctional patterns, as well as to help them find a more fulfilling balance. I often see clients suffer from imposter and/or Wonder Woman syndrome, frequently manifesting as suicidal ideation, depression, and/or anxiety. I use an integrated approach rooted in feminist theory, and that focuses on how trauma currently shows up in our lives. I find this is crucial to break the cycle. I believe that clients of all genders are harmed by societal norms, roles, and stigmas; we all can benefit from working to break down those barriers for the sake of healthy emotional expression. There is nothing better in my line of work than watching clients heal and grow to become thrivers - their own champions. Please reach out to discuss a potential relationship!
Recognizing the client as the expert of their own world, I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming space for them to share and unpack their journey. As a graduate of Towson University’s Clinical Psychology program, I integrate CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based methods to support diverse client needs, including neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, and family and interpersonal conflict.
I view therapy as a deeply collaborative and relational process. Together, we will work to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, patterns, and emotions—helping you build insight, create meaningful change, and foster personal growth. By gaining greater self-awareness, you can begin to navigate internal and relational challenges, explore the connections between your past and present, and move toward a more intentional and fulfilling future. My approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, with a strong foundation in psychodynamic and relational therapy. I am also extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to support individuals in developing emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I strive to provide person-centered care within a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment. Our work together will center on understanding your experiences more fully and finding ways to respond to them with greater clarity and intention.
I have immediate openings for adults and adolescents. Private pay only and I offer flexible scale pricing for those who wish to use it. With all the muddiness around us in the world and our daily lives, it's easy to become stuck in the quagmire and lose sight of our values. Counseling offers a chance to look introspectively at what is truly important so we can discover ways to center those values in our day to day lives. My goal is to build relationships with clients that allow for exploration and deeper understanding of how to live your best life.

Tina is a counseling psychologist who believes therapy should be supportive, collaborative, and meaningful. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and English secondary education from Thiel College, a master’s degree in general experimental psychology from Bucknell University, and her doctorate in counseling psychology from Carlow University. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center, where she worked closely with university students, providing therapy, assessments, and crisis support. She also supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty managing emotions. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and integrative. Tina blends DBT- and CBT-informed skills with psychodynamic and relational perspectives, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs. Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with the wounds of past trauma, abuse, or painful experiences. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space to explore what is hindering you and overcome obstacles in healthy, supportive ways.
I’m a licensed professional counselor offering Telehealth video services for clients in Pennsylvania. The most important part of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. You deserve to have a safe space for you to work through your difficulties and emotions and to feel comfortable with the provider you are working with. I utilize skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, unified protocol, dialectical behavior therapy, exposure work, mindfulness, and relational therapy. I am passionate about helping others work on themselves. I specialize in working with issues including depression, eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and peer relationships. I fully believe that us working together to address your difficulties is the best approach and that humor also has a healthy place in therapy. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we could be the right therapeutic fit for you.
I'm a trauma therapist offering online therapy to college students throughout Pennsylvania. My specialty is IFS-informed EMDR: EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip on the present, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) brings compassion to the parts of you that learned to protect you in hard times. Together, they let us work through trauma at a pace that feels safe — without having to retell your story over and over. Many of the students I work with are carrying more than a heavy course load: childhood wounds, anxiety that won't switch off, depression, ADHD, or the pressure of holding it all together far from home. Therapy with me is a place where all of that can be looked at without judgment. I believe we can let go of our past and accept ourselves as we are — and that self-acceptance is the first step toward change. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in EMDR (EMDRIA) and trained in IFS (IFS Institute) and DBT, with a master's in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and eight years of practice. Sessions are $185 with sliding-scale spots available, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free 20-minute consultation — reach out and let's see if we're a good fit.
Therapy is a personal journey that takes courage to begin- and we are here to help you take that first step. Here at Mindset Matters Counseling, LLC our therapists offer personalized online therapy and can walk with you to overcome your obstacles, reach your goals, and provide a safe space for healing.
Everyone has things in life they want or need to do. As an occupational therapist, I believe that satisfaction stems from engaging in activities that align with one's values. Therefore, my work focuses on guiding individuals to engage in occupations they find meaningful; These could include adopting healthier lifestyle habits, enhancing organization skills, excelling in academic or professional settings, building social connections, managing stress, and more. Through a collaborative and conversation-based approach, I work with clients to identify goals, harness inner strengths, and overcome obstacles to making meaningful change. I work with individuals seeking support in areas such as attention, motivation, sensory processing, relationship building, and time management. While I work with people of all ages, I have a particular passion for supporting college students and young professionals as they navigate the complexities of adulthood and discover their unique paths to fulfillment. My practice is guided by my doctoral work on motivation and resiliency and prioritizes trauma processing to facilitate healing & engagement. I strive to create a warm environment where clients feel accepted and understood. Wherever you’re at on your journey, it would be my honor to help you to discover greater meaning and satisfaction in your life.
