I myself am a first generation Jewish American woman. I have experienced some discrimination because of my religious-ethnic heritage and have the experience of being "other." This experience has enabled me to connect with people who experience "other-ness." I think most of us humans experience some form of trauma growing up, whether from hurts experienced in the family or in the larger society. Being able to talk about those hurts enables personal integration and healing. That is what my work as a therapist is about. One of the things I am aware of, for students and many others at this time in history, is the feeling of social isolation. I am offering a group for young adults to experience connected-ness. Look at my website for further information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Okay, let me guess — life feels like a lot right now. You’re overwhelmed, drained, and stuck in patterns that just aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’re questioning your relationships, struggling at work, or wondering why you feel so disconnected. That glass of whiskey, wine, or weed isn’t helping like it used to. With nearly 20 years of experience, I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you process difficult emotions, release what’s weighing you down, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll create a path toward feeling more grounded and at peace. I help people work through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and feeling emotionally drained. ART helps resolve distressing memories quickly, while IFS helps you understand and care for the parts of yourself that feel stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is compassionate and direct — focused on helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life. You don’t have to figure it out alone. While you might not feel it right now, you know you’re ready for change. I’d be honored to support you as you take the first step toward relief and clarity. I’m out-of-network with insurance, but we can explore ways to make it work. You’re worth the effort — reach out when you’re ready.

Life throws a lot our way, right? Life transitions, school and work dilemmas, family stuff, that nagging feeling you haven't quite figured it all out. Maybe life feels overwhelming right now. Whatever is on your mind, I'm here to tell you that you don't have to go it alone. This won’t feel overwhelming clinical, and it won’t be a vent session either (unless you want it to be). Our time together will help bring clarity and perspective to equip you with the skills and strategies you need to flourish. We are not just going to talk. We'll work together to find solutions and build the concrete skills you need to thrive. Therapy with me isn't confined to a stuffy office. It's a space where we can chat, laugh, and even take a walk (because sometimes fresh air can do wonders for the mind!). Feeling overwhelmed can happen at any age. That's why I specialize in supporting adults and teenagers as they navigate life's challenges. Ready to take that next step? I offer convenient online therapy sessions, or if you're near the Philadelphia suburbs, we can even get some fresh air with walk-and-talk therapy. (It really can work wonders!) Love the beach vibes? I also offer walk-and-talk life coaching in Ocean City, NJ, during the summer months. Let's talk about how I can support you on your journey.

Moving through change, feeling disconnected, or questioning what’s next can be overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate that alone. I offer a collaborative and compassionate space for individuals, couples, and families to explore the stories that shape their lives. Together, we’ll consider what still rings true, what feels heavy, and what you may be ready to release. I’m especially drawn to working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as those navigating belonging, intersecting identities, and spiritual shame. Our work will move at your pace and center the questions that matter most to you. I’ll walk alongside you as we untangle confusion and constraints to foster greater connection, clarity, and choice. You’re the expert on your experience. My job is to help create space for your voice and to support you in honoring what it has to say. If you're ready to begin, I am currently accepting new clients and would love to connect with you.

Understanding that our experiences are shaped by the environments we live in—our communities, culture, and relationships—I take a trauma-informed and relational approach to therapy. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel seen, safe, and connected. I aim to create a space where you can explore your emotions, express yourself freely, and begin to reconnect with your body and sense of self. As an art therapist, I believe creativity can be a powerful pathway to understanding and transformation. In our sessions, we might use artmaking, mindfulness, or gentle somatic practices to help you express what words can’t always capture. These creative tools can support regulation, insight, and a deeper connection to your inner world. My practice integrates mindfulness, person-centered, and feminist frameworks, and I work collaboratively with each client to find what feels most supportive. I specialize in working with anxiety, life transitions, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ concerns, and I strive to provide an affirming space where all identities and experiences are honored. I see therapy as a collaborative and compassionate process—one where we explore not just what feels painful, but also what brings meaning, resilience, and joy. My goal is to help you cultivate a sense of internal safety and confidence as you move toward a more grounded, authentic version of yourself. Outside of my work as a therapist, I find joy in thrifting and antiquing, or getting lost in a good fantasy novel alongside my two cats, Cricket and Jerry. If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. I’d be honored to connect and support you on your healing journey.

As a queer woman who practices polyamory, I can understand how we are often unprepared for the difficulties that arise when living in a mononormative society. It makes sense that emotions like fear or depression are brought up when we go outside of those norms, even for the seasoned consensually nonmonogamous folks. Together we can navigate your polyamorous relationship structure if you or you and your partner(s) find yourselves with insecure attachment styles impacting your relationship(s), are having difficulty managing boundaries, or need help dismantling couple's privilege. You deserve to feel accepted, valued, and back in charge of your own life. With our work individually or as a relationship with your partner(s), you will find that you'll be able to express your emotions clearly to the people in your life, advocate for your needs and wants more effectively, and as a result find yourself feeling less stress. Please reach out to me if any of this resonated with you. You can have a healthy, fulfilling life while practicing polyamory and I am here to help you achieve that. Please email me so we can set up a free phone consultation to talk in more detail about what your wants and needs are.

At The Better You Institute, we work with students who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, even when things seem fine on the outside. Maybe you’re juggling academic pressures, relationships, family expectations, identity questions, or feelings of anxiety and burnout. You might feel like you’re doing “all the right things” but still feel lost, unsure, or like you’re falling short. That’s where we come in. We create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we help you explore patterns that might be keeping you stuck—whether that’s perfectionism, people-pleasing, shutting down when stressed, or struggling to communicate your needs. Our therapists guide you in building healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and connecting so you can navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence. Where you feel like you're in the driver seat, not everything else. We affirm and support all identities, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodiversety. I invite anyone who feels the need to talk to someone who is ready and eager to listen to them. I have worked in mental, behavioral and relational health for the last ten years and am excited to incorporate more couples, duos, ethically and consensually non-monogamous clients as well as individuals. As a student marriage and family therapist with a behavioral therapy background, I have worked alongside and with a diverse group of humans. One approach to issues which I have adopted in my practice is the idea that all behavior is communication, sometimes we need some help finding out what we are trying to say. In session, it is important that each person feels heard, seen and respected equally. I approach sessions with a focused ability to provide an outside set of eyes, voice, and join in a stance of co-collaborator with clients in the healing and problem solving process. Whether we are working through a conflict, identity questions, or just checking in.
