I focused on college counseling during my counselor training, with 10-12 years of experience working with college students. I think I felt particularly drawn to the rich potential for growth and change during the college years, whether I was working with traditional-age or non-traditional students. I welcome the chance to work with college students now that I have my own practice.

Life is challenging and trying to figure out who you are, where you are going and what your purpose is, is hard enough. Then we throw in friendships, romantic relationships, careers and family dynamics and we can get overwhelmed so easily. In therapy we work together to find clarity. I have significant experience helping young adults in their 20s and 30s to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression by exploring relationship and work difficulties, figuring out adulthood, and navigate feeling lost amongst your peers. I work with college students and young professionals navigating young early adulthood. Where we go in therapy depends on you. I take my expertise and knowledge and tailor it to meet your personal needs and what would bring you relief. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion with a focus on living a life that makes you feel fulfilled. Whether this is your first time looking for a therapist or you've traveled down this road before, good for you. Asking for help requires courage. If you are looking to work with a therapist that will be interactive, non-judgmental, empathic and kind, reach out to see if we are a good fit. We will set up at 10minute call to see if we are good fit!

Lexi is passionate about helping individuals and their families master the regulation of their emotions and behaviors so they can thrive. This includes supporting her clients through the big and small transitions that come up in life. When working with children, teenagers, and young adults, Lexi’s specialty areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and adjustment issues. When working with families in need of supervised visitations, Lexi provides services both at and outside the office. Beyond the grade years, Lexi supports young adults transitioning into college and adulthood, including college check-ins to monitor academic, social, and emotional growth.
I thoroughly enjoy working young adult clients. This stage of life is filled with change, exploration of self, and forging of independence -- this can also mean that it's not always easy to ask for help, and a degree of hesitancy exists to allow even the most loving family members and friends into their worlds. I regularly work with clients that are struggling with major life transitions, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. My clients are often seeking safety, understanding, and freedom from their negative thoughts. The foundation of my approach is person-centered and humanistic. I believe in the healing nature of the therapeutic relationship and a non-judgmental space to process life experiences.
We are a holistic practice. We offer Talk therapy, Halo therapy and light therapy. Although we do not offer psychotropic medication we can refer you to a specialist that we work with.
