Feeling unhappy, stressed, overwhelmed, out of control of your own life? We often underestimate the need to have someone support us through challenging experiences and difficult emotions to get us to a better place. It takes courage to seek change and take control of our lives to get us to where we want to be. As a counselor, my goal is to help you gain insight into your current situation and guide you into learning how to manage your emotions so you can break free from the obstacles that are hindering you from having the quality of life you wish to have.
Dr. Grabow’s approach to therapy is aimed at helping clients expand their capacity for well-being by exploring formative life experiences, focusing on how emotions are understood and managed, fostering mindfulness, and identifying values. She strives to develop a relationship with each client that is collaborative, authentic, whole-hearted, and empowering.
Life often asks women to hold so much—caring for others, navigating relationships, balancing responsibilities, and carrying silent struggles that can feel overwhelming. If you’ve been moving through an eating disorder, body image concerns, grief, trauma, fertility challenges, or simply the load of expectations, you deserve a place that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative. In our work together, you’ll find space to be fully seen and supported, with compassion guiding every step as you reconnect with your strength, your voice, and your true self. I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where honesty, care, and curiosity guide our work. Rather than quick fixes, I help you slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with parts of yourself that feel lost. Together, we’ll build safety and trust while using evidence-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting healing. Here, every part of you is welcome—your questions, your grief, your dreams, and your story. This is a place to release what you’ve been carrying, to feel deeply supported, and to rediscover your resilience. I'll honor your process, creating space for healing, growth, and a return to you, but an updated you that feels in alignment with where you see yourself.

Counseling for men who don't want counseling. Theraphe was founded with the distinct purpose to serve men just like you with intentionality and respect. After working with men of all backgrounds through previous crisis and outpatient work, one thing was abundantly clear: We men want better for ourselves and for our families. Yet too often, we do it alone. Therefore, we wanted to build a place where men felt comfortable asking for help. A place, no doubt, where we would want to go. No foo-foey flower patterned couches and no potpourri. No shame in our identity as men. We needed a place where we could navigate our goals with someone who shares our lens and shares our values as men, husbands, and fathers.
Courage isn’t about having no fear—it’s about feeling it and walking straight toward it. And let’s be honest, some days courage is just answering the phone, replying to that text, or—YIKES—opening the front door. Maybe you’ve mastered looking “fine” on the outside, while on the inside you’re desperately hoping no one gets close enough to see the real you. I get it. We all want life to be easy, but counseling? Yeah, it’s not always easy. It’s work. It’s showing up. It’s sticking with it when it feels uncomfortable. If you’re still reading this, I’m guessing something in your life feels heavy and you wish it could just magically change. I can’t promise magic—but I can promise to walk beside you every step of the way, helping you find your footing and your balance again.

I am a licensed clinical therapist providing supportive therapy for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, and more. I empower my clients to overcome obstacles, develop coping skills, and achieve personal growth. My goal as a therapist is to help you make positive changes in your life and overcome the challenges that brought you here. If you are trying to figure out who you are and where you’re headed, you are not alone. This stage of life can feel exciting one minute and overwhelming the next. You might look like you have it together on the outside, but inside you are stressed, anxious, burned out, or unsure of yourself. The students I work best with are thoughtful, self-aware, and trying hard to “do things right.” You care about your future. You want meaningful relationships. You want to succeed. But you may also feel pressure from family, academics, social media, or your own expectations. Maybe you overthink everything. Maybe you procrastinate and then criticize yourself for it. Maybe you feel lonely even when you are surrounded by people. Some of the students I work with are: -Adjusting to college life or struggling with the transition -Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge” -Navigating identity questions around career, relationships, culture, or sexuality -Recovering from a breakup or friendship shift -Dealing with perfectionism or fear of failure -Questioning whether they’re “good enough” In our work together, we create space to slow down and really listen to what’s going on beneath the surface. Therapy is something we build together, a place to be honest, ask hard questions, and try new ways of coping. We will make sense of what you’re feeling, practice tools to manage stress and self-doubt, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded and more like your own. You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to reach out. If you’are willing to show up as you are, we can start from there.
