Life can feel overwhelming—especially when anxiety, depression, or hopelessness take over. Therapy offers a space to reclaim your sense of self, find clarity, and begin the journey toward healing. You are allowed to take up space! You are strong and resilient. You can live a life that is fulfilling, and you deserve to know that you have value. You deserve to have hope for the future and to feel empowered about who you are. You are the expert of your own life—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, including experiences rooted in childhood, family, and relationships. I also work with clients experiencing issues related to LGBTQIA+ (such as stress, acceptance or identity), self-esteem, attachment, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in Trauma Focused CBT and utilize approaches from Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible. Together, we can unlearn harmful patterns, heal from past wounds, and build tools for resilience and self-acceptance.

My style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. Whether we meet remotely or in-home (for testing), my goal is to create a space where you can feel understood, capable, and more confident navigating college and beyond.

Hello! My name is Madeline & I specialize in ADHD, grief work, & women's issues around anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, & work-life balance. In my work with young and adult women (16+), I've found that through modeling genuine self-acceptance and self-compassion (instead of just talking about how important it is), my clients are more receptive to extending the same grace & kindness they give to others to themselves. Because I strongly emphasize authenticity in the work that I do, I show up to each session exactly as I am. Human. While I share therapeutically relevant experiences, anecdotes and thoughts often, they are always done with intention and care. I believe that it is incredibly difficult to form a meaningful connection with another person if the relationship is entirely one-sided. I've found that my approach to therapy differs in that I like to use a lot humor in sessions - both dark and light - which definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay! I am also unapologetically myself, and some days that looks a bit different than others. I'd be wasting my time and yours if I pretended to be someone I'm not or that some days weren't messy, chaotic garbage for me, too. Pretending is not conducive to connection, and I believe my approach to therapy is a testament to that fact. The therapeutic relationship is the bedrock of any therapy success story. I strive to connect to each of my clients on a deep and meaningful level by remaining authentic, genuine, and honest. I provide sincere feedback, offer many skills that can be used outside of sessions, and equip clients with the tools they need to be successful and resilient when life feels like it's just too much. While some issues may be very solution-focused and direct, others may take time. The space I offer is not only safe and nonjudgmental, it is also patient. I will sit with you in the hurt, the pain, the loss, the ache, the hopelessness, and the chaos. I will sit with you knowing that there is an end in sight, and will hold your hand as we find our way out of that darkness together.

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself? Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or the feeling of never being “enough,” you don’t have to face it alone. If you’re navigating cultural expectations or life transitions, I’m here to support you. I’m Zarina (she/her/ella), a bilingual Latina therapist in Texas, offering culturally affirming therapy in both English and Spanish. I specialize in helping BIPOC, Latinx, Spanish-speaking, and LGBTQ+ clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, explore their identity, and navigate relationship challenges. My approach is relational-cultural, person-centered, and trauma-informed. In our work together, I’ll bring in humor, somatic practices, yoga, EMDR, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to strengthen the mind-body connection. I also focus on building self-compassion and boundary-setting so you can prioritize yourself and create the balance you need. I know it’s not always easy to ask for help, and it takes a lot of courage to even get to this point. My hope is to be someone who really listens, meets you where you are, and gives you the space and support you need to start your healing.

Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself or others, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or unsure how to navigate significant societal changes? Do you feel overwhelmed by the pressure to hold it all together, to keep showing up for others while putting your own needs on the back burner? Do you wonder if it’s possible to feel more grounded, connected, and alive? I offer somatic and relational therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Texas. Helping queer people and sensitive people reclaim their aliveness is my calling. There ISN’T anything “wrong” with you, you are human and you have lived experiences, some harder than others, but that is where working together to understand those parts of yourself can help! Life can be unpredictable, and at times, deeply challenging. But within each of us lies a quiet strength — Resilience. It's not about avoiding struggle, but about finding the courage to face it, adapt, and grow. In this space, we honor your story, your challenges, and your capacity to heal. Whether you're just beginning your journey or continuing along the path, we're here to walk with you — helping you reconnect with your resilience, one step at a time. At the heart of this work is a deep commitment to equity, justice, and collective healing. This is a space where all identities are seen, respected, and celebrated — where your full humanity is never up for debate. I practice from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and decolonized lens, acknowledging the ways systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and cultural erasure impact our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing does not happen in isolation — it happens in relationship, in context, and in community.

I work frequently with young adults as they manage increasing independence, college and work. I understand the challenges involved with balancing academic requirements, personal stressors and self care. Additionally, I am experienced in helping clients who are wanting to change their relationship patterns and behaviors, and those struggling to find effective ways to deal with symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and codependency. As a clinical psychologist, I assist my clients in meeting their goals and improving their relationships. Therapy is used to improve communication, coping skills and problem solving. One of my areas of expertise is in helping clients who are working through a particularly challenging time in their lives, and having difficulty moving forward from their experience. By encouraging self expression, increased insight and problem solving in therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to facilitate positive changes. Improving self esteem through greater understanding and acceptance of oneself is part of that work.

Hi there! I'm passionate about helping students who want to work through Complex PSTD or complex trauma, functional depression & anxiety, and self esteem concerns. My goal is to help you get unstuck from a cycle of over functioning, people pleasing, disconnection and overwhelm, to a place of grounding, clarity and connection. I don’t see therapy as a one size fits all approach; I enjoy fostering a space that’s gender affirming and body positive, as well as sex positive and kink friendly/affirming. I also strive to provide a warm, supportive and judgment-free space that is culture affirming and trauma informed, with an understanding that you are the expert on your life. In my opinion, one of the most important factors in getting to a place of grounding and healing, is having a strong connection and fit with your therapist. In our work together, you’ll find that my style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. From a person-centered approach, I like to pull in from different therapies and tools as needed depending on what is going on for you. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to! I approach things from a place of curiosity and non-judgment.

My clients tend to feel like they haven’t fully fit, often misunderstood in their environments. The stories we tell ourselves are very important, often they are stories that others have told us or placed on us. I believe that there is power in taking back our story and discovering what aspects you wish to keep or change. I approach therapy in an existential and narrative lens, with somatic and mindfulness influences to create a safe, inviting, and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship. Some of my clients are discovering who they are, where my role is to give you a safe, inquisitive playground to explore parts of yourself. Other clients understand themselves, but may struggle living their true self in different contexts. Ultimately, I pay close attention to the why underlying your narrative to identify the meaning in what you bring up. Sometimes, these intersections are particular visible in our relationships. I offer couples and family counseling using a transgenerational lens & Gottman Institute techniques for pre-marital counseling. I offer free 20 minute consultation calls to discuss our goodness of fit.
