As part of Tracy’s holistic approach to therapy, she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective treatment for trauma recovery and other symptoms. She has advanced training in brain health, emotional focused therapy, Christian integration, and couples therapy. In addition, she has an understanding of military life. The mission of Heart Stone Therapeutic Healing (HSTH) & Coaching is to provide trauma-informed, person-centered, & Self-led therapy & coaching services through a holistic perspective. HSTH practitioners empathetically utilize a variety of approaches to address each of their client’s unique needs. Beginning the process of therapy is a powerful step into understanding and developing the best self. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. People are influenced by a variety of factors that influence their personal values and behaviors. It is incredibly important for me to honor a person where they are at. I collaborate with clients to work towards goals that are meaningful for them. I draw from a variety of frameworks and therapeutic treatment modalities. Traditional Cognitive Behavior Therapy is empirically sound and an effective theoretical approach I utilize. I also draw techniques from DBT, Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I am EMDR trained and utilize this modality for those clients who have experienced acute and complex trauma. EMDR is also indicated for clients who have tried traditional therapy and feel "stuck". EMDR can help shift change as clients sort through negative memories tied to negative self beliefs. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of concerns. Many of my clients have struggled with adjustment, relationship issues, trauma, depression and anxiety.
