I’m Chesilin Suek, PMHNP, and I’m dedicated to helping adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that dims their spark, ADHD that makes life feel like constant catch-up, or OCD that traps them in exhausting cycles. Together, we create space for healing, clarity, and forward momentum. I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where you’re met with understanding, encouragement, and respect every step of the way. My approach focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms. While I provide evidence-based medication support when appropriate, I also look at sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, and the deeper patterns that influence how you feel and function day to day. Care is never one-size-fits-all; we work collaboratively to create a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and real life. You are not broken, weak, or a burden—you’re human, doing your best in a world that can feel overwhelming. You deserve to feel better, not just get by. You deserve hope, energy, and something to look forward to. You don’t have to keep surviving on autopilot. Together, we’ll untangle what’s holding you back and work toward the life you’ve been wanting and deserve.
Hi and welcome to my page.
Life's challenges can sometimes leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of your next step. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are successful, capable individuals who are used to managing everything on their own, yet find themselves feeling emotionally drained or stuck. My goal is to provide a supportive and authentic space where you can explore your experiences openly, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change. Therapy should feel like a partnership—one built on trust, understanding, and genuine human connection. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a warm, down-to-earth style that meets you where you are. Together, we will identify patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen coping skills, and build strategies that support long-term emotional wellness. I believe lasting growth happens when therapy is personalized, collaborative, and focused on the goals that matter most to you. You do not need to have all the answers before starting therapy. Whether you are facing a difficult transition, struggling with stress and anxiety, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I am here to help. Taking the first step can be challenging, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful growth and healing. I invite you to schedule an appointment and start building the life you want with confidence, resilience, and support.

College is often synonomous with stress. Adapting to independence. Figuring out your identity, beliefs, and preferences apart from family influence. Balancing classes and social life. You're living "Adulting 101." I work with lots of folks managing life transitions and stress. Sometimes this includes managing anxiety or working through past trauma, but it always includes working together to create a space for you to question and learn and grow into the person you desire. I want you to feel freedom to show up and take up space in your life. We'll collaborate to determine what that looks like for you.
My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients are able to explore issues and improve the quality of their lives. I use an integrative style of psychotherapy that pulls from many different approaches with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work with clients is based on a collaborative approach that promotes a strong alliance and allows for open and honest communication. Within this foundation, clients develop the safety and freedom to challenge behaviors and beliefs and discover new attitudes that promote change.
Hi there, my name is Kristina Mills-Gregory, and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Oregon, and Florida. I have been providing therapy for over 12 years. I have a Masters in Counseling from Campbell University, and a BA in Psychology and Communication Studies from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Prior to becoming a therapist, I started my career as a school counselor in public schools. I have also worked in community mental health, providing a wide range of services. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and other issues.
I offer a range of approaches including expressive arts informed therapy, body-centered therapy, and traditional talk therapy. I also specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. My goal is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment and provide you with the tools to authentically explore yourself, solve problems, and cope with difficult experiences. I am committed to affirming and uplifting marginalized identities across racial, ethnic, gender, sexual, and religious lines. Having completed my clinical training at the Appalachian State counseling center, I am experienced in working with college students including non-traditional students.
Place of Peace was created to help individuals, couples and families in our community navigate the stressful nature of dealing with mental health and other life challenges. We are a group of psychologists, therapists, counselors and social workers who use cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditation and trauma therapy, among other things, with the goal of helping individuals create a peaceful place inside themselves. We know this can be difficult, especially when we are struggling with anxiety, depression or emotional pain. Our therapists use empirically-validated and time-tested treatments to help you identify the cause of your pain, heal the underlying issues that are leading to your symptoms and build new skills for healthier habits and patterns.
Our experiences in this world, often based on identities or trauma, can leave us feeling stressed and uncertain. It's confusing to have your worries get in the way of making the connections with people that you long for; or to be so convinced you will fail that it's hard to take the first step in doing the next thing you want to do; or to be suddenly totally overwhelmed in the middle of this exciting new experience you'd been waiting for. Sometimes people need some help slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and finding new ways to respond so that they can move forward with hope, self-compassion, and empowerment. I have spent many years working in college mental health, helping students from all identities and backgrounds navigate the growth and challenge of the college experience. My approach is collaborative. Together we figure out what's getting in the way for you. I'll be with you in the hard moments, naming and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences so that you can find ways to respond to them that are helpful. Increased connection with your body is key. Let's also celebrate the wins, big and small, along the way. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is so important—if you're not comfortable enough to tell your therapist what's really going on, therapy won't work. Let's find a time to connect to see if I would be a good fit for you in your next step.

Therapy is not a luxury, it’s a courageous step toward wellness. Are you a college student of color feeling the weight of expectations on your shoulders? Juggling classes, work, caregiving, or family responsibilities? Maybe you're navigating a painful breakup or divorce, feeling isolated, or burned out from always being the strong one for everyone else. You’re not alone and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. Whether you're a first-gen student trying to find your footing, returning to school after years away, balancing school with parenting, or simply stuck in a cycle of stress, anxiety, or emotional pain, your experiences matter. Your healing matters. Therapy can be a powerful space to breathe, process, and begin again. You deserve support that sees and honors all parts of your journey. Take the first step. You’re worth it.
