Every person will encounter difficult obstacles in life, but your past or current struggles do not have to define your future. I have devoted my life to empowering people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, and other issues, helping them find long-term solutions. I provide therapy in a non-judgmental, supportive space with the goal that you will recognize your value and capacity for wholeness regardless of what holds you back today. As a former firefighter/paramedic, I have cared for many people in crises. Now, I am passionate about guiding those in crisis toward lasting mental health. I engage in therapeutic strategies including solution-focused CBT, neurofeedback, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and mindfulness. I look forward to encouraging and assisting you in overcoming any obstacles hindering your mental wellness. Together, we can strive for long-lasting resolution, exploring proven methods to fit your unique experience. Also, to those in the LGBTQIA+ community, you are welcome here. Queer clients have found me to be a safe space for our work together.

College can be exciting, but it can also be a lot harder than people expect. You may be dealing with stress, anxiety, loneliness, relationship problems, family concerns, academic pressure, uncertainty about your future, or simply feeling overwhelmed and not quite like yourself. You don't have to wait until things become a crisis to talk with someone. Sometimes nothing is terribly wrong. You may just need someone to talk to who isn't a friend, parent, professor, or roommate—someone you can be completely honest with without worrying about being judged. I offer a warm, comfortable, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what's going on in your life. You don't need to know exactly what to say or even be sure that you "need counseling." We can start with what's bothering you and figure things out together. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, I understand that college is about much more than earning a degree. It's also a time of tremendous personal growth, change, and important life decisions. Sometimes having an experienced professional to talk with can make those changes feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable. My approach is easy-going, practical, and down-to-earth. Counseling with me isn't about judging you or telling you how to live your life. We'll build on your strengths, work through what's getting in your way, and find realistic ways to help you feel more confident, hopeful, and in control of where you're headed. I also know that finding a therapist who has availability and fits your budget can be frustrating. I offer convenient telehealth appointments including daytime, evening, and Saturday availability. I accept students with insurance as well as private-pay students, with a special discounted rate available for college students who choose to pay privately. I also offer Therapeutic Chat Sessions and Mentoring for those one-time or "need some guidance" times in your life. Whether you're working through a difficult time, facing a life change, or simply need a safe person to talk things through with, you're welcome here. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Come as you are. We can start there.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in relationships, whether through individual, couples, or family work. I take a systemic perspective, meaning we will zoom out and explore the many interconnected parts that shape your experience, including family of origin, societal factors, cultural influences, and gender dynamics. I especially enjoy working with women who are exploring autonomy, deepening self-awareness, and building stronger attunement with themselves. In addition to individual work, I also enjoy working with couples who feel caught in the same painful patterns, repeating arguments, feeling unheard, and unsure how to move forward. In our work together, we focus on improving communication, deepening understanding, rebuilding connection, and rediscovering the fondness and appreciation that brought you together.

Rao Counseling PLLC
You don’t have to carry it all alone. Hi, I’m Charlie. I work with teens and adults who feel stuck between cultures, expectations, and their own voice. Together, we’ll navigate anxiety, academic stress, OCD, and self-harm patterns in a way that feels grounding, real, and figureoutable.
Zoe Skowronski
Hi, I’m Zoe—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and DBT-certified therapist, offering virtual therapy across Florida, Illinois, and Texas. I work with college students, especially young women, who feel anxious, misunderstood, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt, perfectionism, or unhealthy patterns. Classes, relationships, family stress, and the constant pressure to “have it all figured out” can leave you feeling overwhelmed. In therapy, you don’t have to perform or pretend you’re fine—you get a space to be real, vent, and start untangling what’s been weighing you down. ✨ You might relate if… You’re overthinking every text, email, or decision. You feel “different” or “too much” compared to your friends. You’re caught in cycles with food, body image, or relationships. You’re exhausted from trying to keep it all together. In our first session, we’ll slow things down. I’ll get to know your story, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’d like to change. You don’t need to have a plan—I’ll ask questions to help us explore your coping patterns, relationships, and what’s been hardest lately. This is a supportive space where you can share at your own pace—no pressure to open up before you’re ready. By the end, we’ll have a clearer picture of your goals and how we can work toward them. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.

Reaching out takes courage — and it is one of the most supportive and strategic decisions you can make for yourself. You were made for more than surviving. I would be honored to support your journey.
